Bachelor Of ARTS(B.A)
Choice based credit system has been introduced for under graducate curriculum.2021 for bachelor Degree in Arts offered by RGU and its affiliated colleges.
1.1 Course structureCore Course: A course which shall compulsorily be studied by a candidate as a core course of 6 credits each.

1.2 Generic Elective Course (GEC)
A elective course of interdisciplinary nature chosen from an allied discipline/subject with an intention to provide exposure beyond the discipline of choice is referred as Generic Elective Course (GEC). A core course of a particular discipline/subject may be offered as GEC “ the students of allied discipline/subject and vice versa. Students shall chose 4 GEC, in eacsemesters from I to VI.

Shall be the courses based upon the contents that led to knowledge enhancement and shall include courses on English, Hindi, MIL Communication and environmental Studies.
There shall be separate courses for Environmental Studies for Arts. Students have to select one AECC course from English, Hindi & Environmental Studies as compulsory course.
1.4 The students of Arts shall select 2 Sec, one each in order and [Vth Semester from either his/her own discipline or other allied discipline in order to fulfill the mandatory requirements.

1.6 Accumulation of Additional Credits : Students may pursue courses for additional 12 credits on their own form a pool of courses of 2/4 credits each as prescribed by the university under “Additional SEC” Students may also purse such relevant credit based online learning courses offered through SWAYAM platform.

1.8 Discipline specific Elective Course Elective course offered under the main discipline / Subject of study the students will choose 2 paper each in 5™ and 6" Semester from any group which may include Project Work / Dissertation may be limited to 1/3 of the total admitted student in the core discipline.
